Question: How do I delete my account?

In order to delete your account from GeoWorld follow below steps:

  1. Login with you account to GeoWorld
  2. Visit your profile page
  3. Click on "Report this" link at the bottom left of the profile page
  4. Request your account to be deleted and click on "Report this" button
  5. As soon as you submit your request, we will delete your account as soon as possible.

 

Question: How can I edit my location address?

To edit your location address follow below steps:
 
  1. Log in with your GeoWorld account
  2. Visit your profile and click on the "Edit profile" button under your profile image
  3. At the bottom of the "Main Info" tab you will find the "Location" field
  4. Click on the "Find it" button
  5. On the popup window, change your current address and press the "Enter" button on your keyboard
  6. Make sure that the marker on the map is set on the right address and click on the "Save Address" button on the bottom right corner of the popup window
  7. As soon as the popup window close, click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page

 

Question: I am trying to change my family name in my account, but cannot see how to do this. Please advise.

Response:

To change your name in the account, you have to go to "Settings" at the top right, where you can change your name, e-mail or password.

 

Question: Can a group have multiple administrators? 

 Yes it can. A group owner can give administrative privileges in a member of his/her group following below steps: 

  1. The group owner has to go the central page of his group.
  2. Choose the link “View more members” at the bottom of the left menu.
  3. Each member’s icon has an arrow, which provides the group owner with certain options. This arrow appears when the group owner scrolls over the member’s icon. One of the options is to “Add group admin”.
  4. Once the group owner chooses and verifies this action, the appointed group member becomes a group admin.
Question: How can I approve a contact request?

To approve a contact request follow below steps:
 
  1. Log in with your GeoWorld account
  2. Click on the icon image on your top right menu
  3. Click on the 'Approve' link under the user's photo.
